2000 Honda Civic Viper Alarm Connections – Installer’s Notes
Alarm installations on most vehicles are fairly easy, most connections are found on the drivers kick panel located down by the drivers left foot and up on the drivers steering column by the key cylinder.
If you are installing a viper alarm or any other alarm systems made by directed you will need to have a vehicle wiring diagram with you at all times.
A wiring diagram will help you find which wires that you should test with your Digital multi-meter before you make your connection. If you haven’t picked out an alarm yet, get started here with the most recommended viper alarm system to date!
Tools you will need for a professional quality Alarm system install:
- Digital Multi-meter
- Wire strippers
- soldering iron

2000 Honda Civic Viper Alarm connections – Remote start
In the drivers side kick panel there is a gray box with a harness connected to it on the back, if you are installing a an alarm with remote start there is a Black/yellow wire that controls the factory key less entry capabilities.

If you cut this wire it will allow you to lock and unlock your vehicle with the factory key fobs and the aftermarket alarm key-fobs after the vehicle has been remote started.
