pioneer avh-x2800bs review – How Easy is This Stereo to Use?
Pioneer has always made stereos with interfaces that are extremely easy to use. This stereo is part of a touch screen series of radios that makes it easier to edit your sound, utilize smartphone options and navigate through the stereo the easiest way possible.
The home screen shows you what source you are listening to and each major option on the home screen. This means you can handle most options while driving with one press of the screen. The Easier it is for the user to actually use the product the safer they are while driving.

Audio Video: You are able to watch DVD movies directly from the Pioneer Avh-X2800Bs as long as your parking brake is engaged. The quality of the screen is more than adequate enough to enjoy what ever you may be watching very clearly.
FlAC Audio Playback: Flac offers 24Khz/24 bit CD quality playback for your phone or thumb drive files. This does not mean you can expect a terrible quality song to sound digitally mastered. This means the x2800Bs is capable reproducing cd quality assuming the file is already at CD Quality.
Color Customization: With this stereo you are able to utilize pick from about 112 different colors. This is something iv’e always been pretty meticulous about, I need all of my stereos to match the factory dash lighting in the vehicle.
USB Mode: This particular stereo fully utilizes its on-board (rear mounted) USB input for a couple of things. Not only a 1 Amp continuous charging for your phone or IPOD but your music playback as well. While using your Iphone, Ipod or Thumb drive you can see the album art and song information. Question: Does the Avh-x2800BS Support navigation?
Answer: Navigation does not come with this unit as a feature right out of the box. But you can purchase the Pioneer AVIC-U280 module to add on navigation. It works almost like the pre-loaded pioneer navigation!
Question: Does this stereo have sirius radio? If so, how do I use it?
Answer: This unit comes pre-loaded with the XM software platform. You will still need The plug and play tuner/antenna set. After the tuner/antenna module is installed you can access all of your xm channels, album artwork and presets.
Question: Can I watch videos while driving with this unit?
Answer: In short, yes. However, we do not recommend this because it is both unsafe and in most states against the law. Most new pioneer stereos don’t allow for the old school ground method, they require a pulsed ground. You’ll need one of these handy parking brake bypass switches installed behind the radio.
