Not a lot can be said about this pioneer car stereo in our Pioneer deh-x6700bs Review in terms of high end specs, its a very standard single din radio.
I figured every once in a while id do a review on some standard everyday radios like this one, however i can tell you that it has more to offer than most mid level radios. For starters you can obviously see the dual color layout on the screen.
Pioneer as a whole has been the best for vibrant colors over the years in my opinion and their stereos definitely present the best amount of value dollar for dollar in the car audio world.
The Pioneer deh-x6700bs is the part of the new 2015 line of pioneers single din radios and its definitely a step up from last years model especially if you run an android mobile device, the USB option now works on most mobile devices including IOS.
Hands Free Calling and music streaming
There are a ton of features on this Pioneer car stereo and pioneer did a grate job making them work seamlessly. The pioneer deh-x6700bs bluetooth receivers bluetooth music streaming option works almost effortlessly allowing you to use the “track up” and “track down” buttons to change the song in which you are listening to inside the media folder or application in your phone, in some cases you may also fast forward.
The button with the phone symbol on it on the left of the volume button allows you to launch the Bluetooth phone call options in order to make phone calls strait from your radio.
While in your Bluetooth phone call options you may review your missed, received and outgoing calls, you may also call a contact directly by pressing the phone symbol a second time. One of the newer features they have added to this model is music playlist and album browse.
Music and playlist browse allows you to browse your playlist and and alums via Bluetooth strait from the radio without having to search threw your phone while driving, which is never recommended in terms of safety and law regulations.
Siri eyes free calling and music streaming
In short, the pioneer deh-x6700bs cd receiver will allow you to use siri on your iPhone 4s to 5s.
This works by pressing the dedicated siri button on the radio, siri hears your commands through the supplied pioneer microphone and preforms specific tasks. Siri currently works with google calendar, music play, text messages and reminders.
