The Boss BG15 Long Throw Orbital Griot’s Garage Review
Griot’s Garage BG15 is a high speed buffer that has been built right. Known as The Boss, this Long-Throw Orbital was been crafted using a combination of the best materials and manufacturing methods from highly experienced auto detailers.
We use a few different high-speed Buffer’s at our shop, this one is the shops favorite. The black cutting pad works magic on show cars in order to cut minor swirls and other paint defects, creating a brilliant shine. After that step we use the yellow pad with the brilliant “perfecting” compound in order to create a glass like finish. Im talkin’ glass!
The Boss BG15 was built with 900 watts of muscle giving it the perfect combination of control, performance, and comfort in order to deliver unparalleled polishing effectiveness.
This polisher delivers a sizable punch making paint defect removal a fast process. The machine’s sleek body design is light in weight making it a perfect tool for quick spot work and buffing sessions.

How Was The Griot’s Garage BG15 Built?
A tool designed for both weekend detailing enthusiasts and professional detailers in mind. It comes in two different configurations: The Boss G21 with a 21mm orbit and The Boss G15 with a 15mm orbit.
The Boss Long-Throw Orbital G15 polisher is the perfect tool in your detailing line-up. The G15 has been structured to use the Boss 5” pad system. A perfect combination for detailers and enthusiasts.
The Boss generates unchanging torque despite different technique usage; its consistency creates a fast pad rotation necessary for powering off profound effects in paint that you might not want. The end effects are smooth and low-vibration operation. After I polish with the black pad I’m often so surprised at how the paint looks that I almost want to release the vehicle. But, before you release the vehicle always use the perfecting pad along with the perfecting compound for a almost perfect shine. (especially when buffing deep colors such as Maroon, Black, deep grays and so forth.

Why Pick The Boss G15 Polisher?
The Boss G15 Long-Throw Polisher is safe and easy to use. The G15 Long has been incorporated with the latest machine buffing advance technology. The 15mm throw quickly removes swirls and defects in the paint.
The Boss G15 comes with an anti-fatigue feature that resembles a trigger lock button. The Trigger Lock Button holds the power trigger in place as the user polishes the paint. The whole system weighs approximately 5 pounds.
I used to use a Dewalt buffer paired with 3m brand pads and compounds. I almost never use the Dewalt now, not because it isn’t a good polisher but because The Boss G15 is so comfortable to use and requires less work for an even better finish than the Dewalt Buffer.
