Double Din Car Stereo’s Fit My 2003-2006 Chevrolet Tahoe
As with most general motors trucks, installing a double din car stereo into A Chevy Tahoe from 2003 to 2006 is very strait forward.
The dash kit is very simple to put together and only requires a small amount of modifications in order to properly construct it. Your pretty much cutting the plastic bar that sits in the middle of the trim that surrounds the screen and snapping off portions of the plastic side posts with simple cutters.
This dash kit comes with both the single din kit and the double din kit included in the package. I recommend that you keep the parts that you don’t use for your installation.

Wiring Harness for My 2003-2006 Chevrolet Tahoe
The wiring harness that you need in order for you to install a radio into your 2003-2006 Chevrolet Tahoe is a bit different from a standard 12 or 13 wire harness.
Data Bus has changed electronically the way vehicles work. Your Tahoe has a chime that sounds when the door is open, so in return Metra made a harness with a small speaker on it that replicates this function for you.
Another thing that you’ll find interesting about this harness is that it uses a signal from the vehicle to create its own accessory 12 Volt power source. I love these Harnesses, they retain OnStar, OEM Bluetooth, Balance and fade.
2003-2006 Chevrolet Tahoe Double Din Dash Kit
This dash kit is pretty standard, it requires some cutting but the cutting required is very minimal. This dash kit also comes with the single din kit in on package.
One of the things i like to do for some of my customers is to paint the trim of the dash kit with jet black spray paint to make it blend in even better.

What your looking at on your left is a multi dash kit package, meaning this dash kit comes in two parts.
There is a double din dash kit and a single din dash kit included.
The instructions are pretty simple for installation and this kit fits perfectly into Chevrolet Tahoe’s from 2003-2006.
